Flaming

A high temperature flame is applied to the previously flattened Stone surface which provokes small chips to detach from the stone.

Bush-Hammering

A bush-hammer with pyramidal teeth on its end makes repetitive strikes against the previously flattened stone surface.

Flaming and Bush-hammering are both recommended for all types exterior paving when high slip resistance under wet conditions is important.
